Toll Roads in Romania

In Romania, there is a vignette toll requirement. To use all highways (Autostrăzi) and any other roads marked as toll roads, you need a vignette. Most of the time, the toll roads are unavoidable as they connect the major cities and regions. You can easily purchase the digital vignette from us.

Some bridges crossing the Danube require a special toll, which must be paid in addition to the vignette:

• DN5, E70, E85 – Connects Giurgiu (RO) with Ruse (BG)
• A2, E81 – Connects Fetești with Cernavoda
• DN2A, E60 – Connects Giurgeni with Vadu Oii

Payment for these special toll sections is often only possible at toll booths and various gas stations along the access roads leading to the bridges. Please note that often only cash in Romanian Lei is accepted.
